Luminous Marriage is a Christian Marriage Education and Resource Center created by Bernie Wright, M.A., in 2017. Our goal is to offer Bible based marriage courses, resources, and one-on-one coaching to anyone interested in having or learning about Christ-centered marriage & holy matrimony.

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, Luminous (Lu·mi·nous \ˈLü-mÉ™-nÉ™s\) is an adjective that means "emitting or reflecting usually steady, suffused, or glowing light". Luminous objects cannot emit light on their own. They need another source to shine light.

In John 8:12, Jesus said “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” (NASB) Luminous Marriage was created to help your marriage walk in and reflect that light.​

How to register
Step 1: first contact
Luminous Marriage offers premarital, marriage, and life skills courses to interested individuals and groups. If you would like to take one of the courses listed, fill out the contact card below this page or e-mail your contact information to info@luminousmarriage.com. We'll get back in touch with you in about two business days. If you would like for a course to be hosted at your church or community center, please mention that as well.
STEP 2: Consult & SCHEDULING
Once we contact you, we will have a brief conversation and clarify any questions that you might have about our courses. If we both agree that a course from Luminous Marriage will be great for you, we will schedule a time to either meet in a public location or via Skype or Google Meet for an online meeting.

If there is a concern that a course from us won't fit your situation, we will give you a referral list of life coaches, licensed counselors, or other organizations in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex for you to reach out to.
By paying for your course in full, you are saving that date and time. Please let us know via e-mail within 24 hours if you cannot make your appointment or need to reschedule.
STEP 3: Class day
Hooray! The day of class is here. If your course has an assessment that needs to be completed beforehand, please complete it 24 hours prior to the first day of class. If we are meeting in person, bring materials for taking notes. If we are meeting online, I will send you an invitation via e-mail. After the course has been completed, you will receive a certificate of completion.

Pre-marriage Courses

The Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS) Assessment by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott is designed to give dating and engaged couples the skills they need to evaluate the prospect of marrying, explore what love looks like for themselves and their partner, and how to create a roadmap for life long love. This course is also partnered with TwogetherInTexas.com which offers couples $60 off their marriage license after completing a certified 8 hour marriage education program.
